Who We Are
Inspire Mentoring is an organisation operating in all areas of Bristol, South Gloucester and Bath and North East Somerset.
We are a Bristol City Council approved mentoring provider who work with the local authorities and schools to provide 1:1 mentoring for young people aged 8-19. We have a diverse team of a skilled mentors who support young people with a range of needs to support, inspire and educate to create a positive impact on young people’s lives.
Our Aim
To provide skilled and inspiring role model mentors who can meet the needs of all young people. The aim is to create a positive impact on the lives of young people through offering support, guidance, and positive opportunities. Young people will receive 1:1 engagement to champion their personal, social and educational development. We will provide a safe space and fun environment for young people to develop their learning in an informal 1:1 setting.
Our objectives
- Enhance young people’s mental health and wellbeing through delivering physical activities and therapeutic activities
- Create new opportunities to enable young people to participate in doing positive activities in their local communities and surrounding areas
- Provide a safe space for conversational support so young people can talk in confidence and feel supported and valued
- Build confidence and self-esteem so young people can explore their values, beliefs, ideas and issues
- Create community empowerment where young people feel safer in their local area and have a positive outlook and attitude towards their local communities and surrounding areas
- Support young people to improve school attendance and engagement to learning
- Build and maintain positive relationships with young people and their families or carers
- Provide 1:1 learning in suitable environments that’s meet young people’s needs
- Proudly operate as a role model service that inspires young people to improve behaviour, create aspirations and make good choices, so they can grow and develop into being the best version of themselves
